The main differences include increased toe pitch & heel lift, a tighter heel & a slightly wider ball girth to allow the foot to expand under high pedaling pressures.

Bought the Cx241 size EU 43 and it was to small and it was final sale policy so this sucks,
Big fan of Lake's shoes and owned many pairs. The CX241 have been the best ones yet (own 2 pairs). Perfect fit - great style - exceptional performance
Super shoes - perfect fit, took care of all the past issues I’d had with other shoes
I just got my first ever road shoes after using flats for a couple years. I have decided to bike more and invest in good road shoes. After much research I decided on the Lake Wide 241 and am very satisfied. I was not sure what to expect as I have wide feet. I wear an Allen Edmonds size 12 eee and a Hoka 12.5 wide . The Lake shoes are very comfortable after 15 miles on the trainer.
Having owned a pair of Lake MX303’s, I was familiar with how good their road shoes would feel. I ordered the CX241 and was completely impressed again. The sizing guide and method is accurate. The shoe itself is very well made, it’s lightweight (despite some reviews out there, I compared these side to side with another brands (with a big “S”) top tier carbon road shoe, and hardly felt a difference. Only a scale would show the numerical difference. The superior comfort of these Lake shoes to anything else I’ve tried wins out any argument over a few grams any day.
