CX/TX Race Last– Featuring a slightly narrower toe box & tighter heel than the Competition last and less overall volume than the Sport last. Designed for very high-cadence riding & higher pressure and a slimmer fit. The wide version offers 15mm of additional volume at the ball of the foot over the standard width last.

The best for wide feet!

I have feet much like a duck and the choice of wide shoes is limited. I was wearing Sidi Mega and was advised by a podiatrist to use Lake. The Sidi's were their top of the line and I didn't really expect too much difference from Lake. Well, way wrong. These are like slippers, are very lightweight, comfortable with the upper conforming to your foot beautifully without stress points. They're stiff and just so damn good I can't believe the difference. So good I immediately bought a second pair for the future. Soles are well marked for cleat placement .... they are near to perfect as can be.

Very comfortable shoe and very light..very nice looking but because of having only one boa system it is not suitable for sprinters..

Great Shoes

I Love these shoes!
I have a small bike repair/wheel building/bike fitting business in Hawaii.
The most important thing before even starting a proper BikeFit is making sure the shoe is the correct size.
Cannot even start a BikeFit without the proper shoes.
So I will be sending my customers to Lake for their new shoes.
Here in Hawaii it is only fair to say that most shoe soles delaminate here after awhile.
So I will keep an eye on that. If they survive the Hawaii humidity test they will be perfect!
