MX 332 WIDE

I have struggled with foot pain for several years in my bikes shoes over multiple different brands. Nothing provided relief for rides longer than 4 hours. There were times that the pain was more manageable by loosening shoes, backing off the pace or worst case riding with foot outside of shoe. It became just as important to manage my feet as it was to manage my nutrition on 100 mile mountain bike races.

Almost 1,000 miles on these shoes and ZERO foot pain to date. It is unbelievable. I was thinking my long endurance racing was over.

The shoes fit long for me using the Lake fit guide. It took several pairs to get the right size and fit. I ended up ordering (4) different pair. The positive part was the easy return and fast refund. The Lake team was great!

After years of "never quite right" I discovered the CX 332 - a game changer for me. Four years later, those shoes are still going strong. In the meantime, I've been considering a new pair of walkable/hike-able shoes for my increasingly mixed terrain rides. I shopped around but could not find anything at any price that was as good as the 332 - so I returned for the MX. The new BOA dials are great, and the fit, well, I already knew it was great right out of the box. I have a wider foot, and Lake's approach to increased volume simply works for me. The quality of materials and construction in these shoes is truly top notch, and with the right fit they are more comfortable than a shoe this stiff has any right to be. So good, I actually bought them twice.
