Had a little bad experience on delivery date due to delivery companies mismanagement. Then later on, when received the shoes, they had a defect on their fabrication and it was promptly replaced by Lake. Shoes are amazing. If the size fits you, you won't go wrong.
My second pair of Lake shoes and my first Lake triathlon shoes. They are great for 4+ hour rides and I've had no problems with either stiffness and maintaining power. No pinching or hot points so far and no issues with breathability. Lastly, I had a great customer service experience when exchanging sizes with quick re-shipment of the proper size.
Love the shoes, Not a real fan of their Customer Service
Been very flat and wide footed the lake brand was recommended to me after a bike fit. My current bike shoes were crushing my feet meaning numbness in my feet. I have been using them for a month and what a joy to wear! Brilliant highly recommend and excellent advice given during the process. I'll never by another brand - need to buy cycling shoes for winter next
I'm a relatively big guy for a cyclist/triathlete and started to have significant issues with my cycling shoes as the narrow tox boxes were starting to cause significant problems. I found Lake and finally found a shoe that works for me and allows me to throw down the Power numbers I want without the residual pain and numbness issues. Note, I did get 85mm pedals which ensured that the inside of the shoe didn't rub against the crank arm.
