The MX201 Flat strikes the perfect balance for flat pedal riding and all day walking comfort. The semi-flexible sole offers perfect comfort for walking and the stiffness needed for all day cycling. Built on our Comfort Plus LAST with a wider toe box the MX201 Flat has a unique construction that offers a light weight and extremely breathable shoe with a generous forefoot platform that accommodates a multitude of foot shapes.

MX Comfort Plus Last –  Featuring an all new COMFORT PLUS LAST with a wider toe box and a unique construction that offers a light weight and extremely breathable shoe with a generous forefoot platform that accommodates a multitude of foot shapes.

Comfortable Real Rubber and EVA Enduro Sole with a semi-rigid Nylon midsole. The MX201 features Lake’s Legendary Fiberglass injected Nylon sole formula with an all new design that has incredible grip and durability for all day cycling.

Clarino Microfiber & NuFoam mesh upper. Form fitting and durable microfiber and mesh upper with a comfortable and secure BOA® closure with Tectuff Microfiber Toe protection.

BOA® Fit System Li2 dials. The Li2 dial is the most advanced platform in cycling, offering a precise, micro-adjustable fit in both directions and designed to resist abrasion.

Nice wide fit, good styling. However the highly ventilated elastic mesh toe box might not be ideal for those who worry about pedaling through prickly plants/cactus or wet conditions. Otherwise great shoe

They Really Fit!

The only flat pedal shoes that fit my wide feet. I tried several of the most popular brands but there were too narrow, even in bare feed. These shoes are so great that I wear them all the time, not just when riding. For clip-in pedals I’ve always used Sidi Mega Wide MTB shoes with SPD cleats. But I’ll be switching to Lake from now on. Really high quality shoes!

Lake, thank you so much for making this shoe. This is the cycling shoe I have been hoping someone would make. I have switched over to "barefoot" style shoes to fix my feet. My old "wide" cycling shoes still caused my feet to physically crunch.
