Finally, a late Spring/early Fall road shoe when you don't feel like fooling around with toe or shoe covers. Comfortable down to the mid to high 30s. I found the sizing right if you go by shoe length, not size. Well made, everything works. Highly recommended!

These shoes are just right. I always have a problem finding wide shoes for my small sized feet (38). I have had Lake shoes before and they were great. But -- these are the first cycling shoe I have ever had where my feet didn't go numb within the first 15 minutes. I went up a size (39) in order to wear my wool or waterproof socks and my feet have never been cozier. I love them! Six out of five stars.

Paired with heavy weight socks these shoes keep my feet comfortable in the mid 30s-lower 40s. I usually go with size 45. I followed the recommendations and went with 46 and the fit is just right.

Wirklich hochwertiger Schuh der Extraklasse. Aber die Größenangabe stimmt m. E. nicht. Habe den Schuh vorsichtshalber in Gr.44 bestellt obwohl ich lt. Liste 43 bräuchte. Leider immer noch deutlich zu klein. Specialized passt mit 43. Schade, ich glaube, der Schuh ist wirklich super.

I have two other lake models and use the wide version in both, and size 42.5. There is no half size, so I ordered a size 43. I was surprised to find the shoes tight. Unusable tight. I attribute this to the thick insoles that come with the shoes. I took the Lake insole from my other summer shoes and then I could fit in the winter shoe. It fits correctly with this adjustment. I imagine that I will not reap the benefit of the insulated footbed. If I could exchange with a size 44 - it might be too long? Not sure. I ordered on line... so I did not have the option to try.
