CrankBrothers pedal issue

Shoes are fine, and work with two-hole, Shimano cleats/pedals, but am having a hard time getting 'em to work with CrankBrothers cleats/pedals, something about the shape of the sole and the angles, I guess. The shim that came with the cleats doesn't help them connect; have been cutting up credit cards and changing the positioning of the cleats, trying to find the correct height/angle, with, so far, no success. Other than that, would agree probably not as wide as the description might lead you to believe, but the shoes seem fine and are no doubt a good value.

Good shoe but not what I was hoping for

These shoes look great and seem to be well made but I agree with everyone else that they run small. They are a little snug but I can still use them. I was hoping they would be good for a wider foot as well but these could be wider. They just fit snugger than I thought they would and for me they don’t make for a super comfortable feel for longer rides but still work. These were at a great price so I thought I would give Lake a try. I think they have some shoes that may work better for me (more expensive) but I will use these for now until I can try some of those.

Took 23 days from the time I ordered to arrive.

I asked to cancel multiple times throughout the process but was told no. They arrived too late for me to actually use so I've not bother taking them out of the box yet. Will try to sell them on ebay or something I guess since they won't refund the purchase either.

Great Deal

These are comfortable and functional MTB shoes. At the closeout price, they're a steal, rivaling the quality of shoes that cost 2-3 times as much.

Runs a little small

I’ve worn Lake shoes for quite awhile now- raced probably ten seasons of cyclocross in their shoes and have always loved their performance. Size 46 is what I have always worn (us 12.5) but these seem to run a little smaller than all the other Lake shoes. I bought these for casual mountain biking but may have to jump up another size. Great shoe just runs a little small.
